Experimental Peregrine Falcon Killed

 A Peregrine Falcon has been killed in a town called Ofagbe in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State. 

In Nigeria and Africa at large. Mystical birds or animals are sometimes assumed to be possessed by witches or evil spirits. Just like the Owl that usually hunt at night, it is assumed that evil spirits possesses these nocturnal animals probably due to the way they live and their nature.



The Bird which was killed in the town had a tag on it leg showing it flew all the way from Finland, Europe.  The tag reads, "Museum 200L Helsinki, Finland" confirming that the bird might likely had flown from Finland , Europe.




On Twitter, many users kicked against the act and others made fun of it. Some believe it was an experimental bird freed for experiment sake. Check out the some of the  tweet.

Over the last three decades, BIAFRA has been all over the air. This whole struggle started 1967 by Late. Emeka Ojukwu.
